In 1973, I co-founded the rock band Kiss. We went on to become one of the most successful and iconic bands in history, selling over 100 million albums worldwide. But our journey was not without its challenges.

In this book, I share my personal story of how Kiss came to be, the highs and lows we experienced along the way, and the lessons I learned about life, love, and rock and roll.

I grew up in a working-class family in New York City. My parents were immigrants from Hungary, and they instilled in me a strong work ethic and a belief in the American dream. I started playing guitar at an early age, and I quickly realized that music was my passion.

In the early 1970s, I met Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley. We shared a love of rock and roll, and we decided to form a band. We called ourselves Kiss, and we quickly developed a unique sound and style that set us apart from other bands.

Our first album, Kiss, was released in 1974. It was a commercial failure, but we didn't give up. We continued to tour and record, and slowly but surely, we began to build a following.

In 1976, we released our breakthrough album, Destroyer. This album was a huge success, and it helped to make Kiss one of the most popular bands in the world.

Over the next few years, we continued to release successful albums and tour the world. We became known for our elaborate stage shows and our iconic makeup and costumes.

In the 1980s, we went through a period of decline. Our music became more commercial, and we lost some of our fans. But in the 1990s, we made a comeback. We released several successful albums, and we toured the world again.

Today, Kiss is still one of the most popular bands in the world. We have sold over 100 million albums, and we have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

In this book, I share my personal story of how Kiss came to be, the highs and lows we experienced along the way, and the lessons I learned about life, love, and rock and roll.
